// EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR //

Heather Ramirez is a YouTube creator, podcast host, and community builder who’s been making content since 2016.

She started her career with vlogs, documenting her journey of starting a business. She went on to become a YouTube coach, helping people share their stories, build online communities, and navigate the growing creator economy.

Over the years, she’s launched and hosted three podcasts, including The Couple’s Table, a live-streamed podcast she co-hosts with her husband, Tom Buck, where they talk about life, business, and the realities of being full-time content creators.

Most recently, Heather transformed her gaming YouTube channel and its community into HeatherJustPlay, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering personal growth through video games and collaborative play. Through HJP, she produces a variety of audio and video podcasts, all with a focus on empowering people to connect, create, and level up both in-game and in real life. 

// PRESIDENT //

Tom is a lifelong audio/video production enthusiast who’s always enjoyed video games, but really discovered a passion for gaming in later adulthood. He was a high school Digital Media teacher for 11 years and has been a full time YouTube creator since 2021 where he shares everything he knows about cameras, audio, podcasting, and streaming with a worldwide audience. Outside of of the content creation world, Tom enjoys playing music and hockey.

// SECRETARY //

Cat is a skilled speaker and trainer who helps people identify and overcome roadblocks in order to take meaningful action by using her framework, The Momentum Formula. Her work blends an understanding of human behaviour with practical strategies to help create consistent, sustainable, and aligned habits.

She has 20 years of experience leading workshops and programs, including a background as a licensed Immunity to Change facilitator.

Cat has a BSc in Physiology and Psychology, an MEd in Workplace & Adult Learning, and an MBA in Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour.

She is based out of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

Brie McCorkle has been a dreamer and gamer for her entire life. From her earliest days to present, she still believes that Disneyland actually is the "Happiest Place on Earth", was the first kid on her block to own a Nintendo Entertainment System in October of 1985, and she's been a massive fan of Tabletop gaming such as Dungeons & Dragons for more than 30 years. It's safe to say that magic is more than an idea to her. It's a core part of her life. In her more recent years, Brie lost both her legs due to medical complications but refuses to let that stop her and has chosen to take her life experiences and become a symbol of what you can do instead of what you cannot.

Soun (Sarilla/Brorilla) has been a lifelong gamer since the 90’s. His love of role-playing games (RPGs) began when his parents bought him a PlayStation with two of the greatest Japanese RPG’s ever made: The Legend of Dragoon and Final Fantasy 8! Soun began his journey in FFXIV in 2021, and was fortunate to join HJP as a member in 2024. He currently serves as a Research Associate for a fintech company based in Midtown Manhattan. He received his M.S. in Finance from Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business and B.F.A. in Theater Performance from the Pace School of Performing Arts.
